A Tristate science, mathematics and engineering technology education center should be designed to support and partner with community groups that serve area youth. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Minorities in Math, Science and Engineering are just three examples of such community groups.
This advisory committee will allow community groups to share with the GCSEC their needs and objectives and help the Concept Development Project team create an education center design that will support and enhance community group efforts.
A draft description for this committee will be developed in January.
